Rich Square Fire & Rescue provides emergency response to preserve life, property, and the environment by controlling and extinguishing fires. The department suppresses fires in homes, vehicles, forests, and any other location that may present a risk for fire. Through training and experience, the department has the ability to deal with almost any type of fire.

Rich Square Fire & Rescue provides prompt response to 911 calls when first responder services are needed for the citizens and visitors of Northampton County. Our responders provide live saving first aid and CPR. We also assist Northampton County Paramedics in patient stabilization during a wide range of incidents along with setting up and securing landing zones for critical care patients that must be transported by helicopter to level 1 trauma centers.

Rich Square Fire & Rescue provides extrication services within its fire district while also providing services with our neighboring mutual aid departments. The department is trained to remove victims that are entrapped or entangled in their vehicle. The department is working to be medium rescue certified and has a rescue vehicle that is capable of handling most any incident.
